MEDIAHRAR presents: "Model Branding Workshop"

The purpose of the Model Branding Workshop is to educate, encourage and advise Twin Cities' models on best practices for branding themselves as it pertains to their modeling career.

DATE: Thursday, February 11, 2016

LOCATION: A-Mill Artist Lofts ( 315 MAIN STREET SE, MINNEAPOLIS MN 55414)

PARKING: There are metered parking spots available on SE 3rd Street OR an outdoor surface lot on the corner of 2nd St. SE and SE 3rd Street.

BUILDING ENTRANCE: There is a driveway/alley on SE 3rd Street to the right of Alchemy 365 that you can walk down and enter the A-Mill Artist Lofts OR you can enter on Main Street- beware there is construction but they have a walking ramp leading to the door.
Follow the signs to the Performance Studio on the main level.

TIME: 8am-12pm 
8am: Check-in begins 8am, Treats/Beverages available

9am: Welcome/Workshop starts- Branding 101 segment
10am: Break out stations
11:30: Panel Q & A 
12pm: Wrap up

COST: $30 + processing fee

Please Note: This workshop is limited to 40 attendees.

 

This half day workshop will entail: 

  • Branding 101 - presented by Mediahrar owner, PR & Brand Consultant - Anahita Ahrar

    • What it means to brand yourself, Branding Best Practices, DOs & DON'Ts, Social Media/Website advice, How-To Tips for setting Guidelines & Expectations & more.

  • Break out Stations & Expert Insight from:

    • 2015 Photographer of the year Chris McDuffie

    • Twin Cities Make-up artist (MUA) Nicole Fae

    • Fashion Stylist & Creative Director Tressie Schneider

    • Local Model perspective

    • Model agency representative

  • Conclusion: Panel style Q & A

 

Our goal is to help models gain more confidence in managing their brand as well as feeling more educated on topics regarding business collaborations and becoming familiar with Industry standards.

  • Your portfolio or link to access- you will have a chance to review your portfolio with our experts.
